BetAmerica is best known for its racebook. Besides betting lines, they offer educational content on all of the important thoroughbred races. Along with thoroughbred racing, they also offer markets for harness and quarter horse racing. BetAmerica has over 300 races, mainly from the USA, but also from international tracks including Canada, Australia, Ireland, and the UK.
Every day they host online handicapping contests as well as Live Picks. Here, edit your selections up to one minute to post. This way, you can hopefully avoid disaster if you mess up a wager.
Greyhound Racing
The site claims to offer more betting on greyhound racing than any other website, and you’d be hard-pressed to find a contender with them offering on over 1,000 live greyhound races every week, you’d have to go through groundhog day many times to get through all of the 1000 races.
Sports Betting
Now, at the moment this is only available in New Jersey. However, BetAmerica Sportsbook is a great addition to the BetAmerica lineup. We really hope to see the sports betting platform roll out to other states soon.

The BetAmerica horse betting app features the same great online experience in a mobile-friendly app. Its user-friendly layout makes betting a walk in the park and is aesthetically pleasing. Plus, the ability to glide through the various sports and games makes the app very enjoyable to use.
You can bet in the same process as on the regular website – on horses, greyhounds and fantasy sports – and can also watch the live streaming of races and live scoring for your fantasy players come in.

Withdrawals
When it comes to withdrawing money, there are three available methods. The first is via an electronic bank transfer in which no charges are applied. Secondly, eWallet services like Neteller can be used, also free of charge.
The third and final method is a check by mail. Note, this method has a minimum withdrawal of $5. Luckily, it is available worldwide. However, if the delivery needs to be expedited then charges may apply.
If you do not possess a US bank account and wish to withdraw funds, the operator will send the desired amount by check to the account holder’s address on file. For a fee of $30, upon request, delivery of checks to continental US addresses will be expedited and sent within one business day. Note, requests must be made Monday to Friday, prior to mail cutoff for next business day delivery.

In our BetAmerica review of these contact methods, the Live Chat is the best option if you’ve run into a problem. They’re quick to respond, very polite, very helpful and, although they’re not always lightning fast in moving through helping you with your problem, they do get it sorted.
When it comes to email, you get a fairly quick response. However, it may take up to 48 hours. That said, it is usually quite fast; our test received a response within one hour. But depending on the time of day, you may be waiting until the next day for a response – which is to be expected.

BetAmerica offers live video streaming from over 325 racetracks across the United States of America and from around the world, with over 3500 live races to watch and wager on every week. Each verified customer is allowed ten hours of free live video every month, with additional hours added depending on how much you’ve bet. Needless to say, the more you stake the more hours you get for free.
The best part of the live streaming is that it’s on the same page as the betting options and your bet slip. So you watch the horses/greyhound walk around the ground whilst making your selections and place your bets. You then watch the race all in the same window, no pop-ups or new windows required, which definitely boosts our rating in this review as it’s so convenient. The feed for the transmission is a few seconds behind, but that is to be expected with any live streaming.
