NASCAR 2024 Schedule
Let’s see what awaits us in the coming weeks.
Futures
If we take a look at NASCAR odds ahead of this race, we can see that Larson, Truex Jr, Martin, and Kyle Kyle Busch are given better odds for the Cook Out Southern triumph. However, we need to take into account that each Elliot’s race on this track was better than the previous one, and after last year’s superior performance, we have high hopes ahead of the race.

Exciting Drivers – Our Picks
As we are talking about NASCAR odds and this year’s Cup Series, we wanted to share a few names to consider if you will be participating in the NASCAR betting action. There are several drivers who are strong favorites for advancing into the playoffs.
Kyle Larson
Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson started this NASCAR season with a bang. “Yung Money” joined this legendary team as the No. 5 car driver. Interestingly, Hendrick made a precedent and allowed Larson to compete in dirt races, as well. Of course, his primary focus was always going to be the Cup and he did not disappoint.
Larson won the Pennzoil 400 and was in the lead for the majority of laps in Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 and Drydene 400. However, it was the Coca Cola 600 win that solidified his position as one of the likely NASCAR champions. He was in the lead in as many as 327 laps (of 400).
He was superior in the next race too and won the Toyota/Save Mart 350 after leading in 58/90 laps. It seemed that there was no stopping him as he recorded wins both in the All-Star Race and the Ally 400 that were to follow. Unfortunately, five races have passed and he has failed to impress in each one. So, the next couple of races are going to be crucial for “Yung Money” if he wants to pick his first Bill France Cup.
Denny Hamlin
Three-time Daytona 500 winner is one of the top picks to take the NASCAR Cup this year. So, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to see that NASCAR odds are in his favor. However, this NASCAR season has been a far cry from smooth sailing than what this driver is used to.
Even though he was in the lead for the majority of laps in as many as five races this season, Hamlin still failed to win in a single one. Nevertheless, it is enough to keep him at the top of the leaderboard with the chance to land a spot in the playoffs.
It would be quite exciting to see a winless driver hold the trophy, and with a 210-point edge over Kevin Harvick, Hamlin’s the only contender who has a chance in succeeding. After finishing fourth last year, he is certainly hoping to improve on this score.
Kevin Harvick
Even though Harvick kicked off the season in full force and managed to finish in the top ten in the first three races, he has struggled to make a comeback. However, this driver is not to be dismissed so easily.
During the last season, Harvick recorded ten wins and was in the lead during the majority of laps (as many as eleven times). This certainly paid off as he became the regular series champion. Even though Harvick started the playoffs pretty well, Hamlin was just unstoppable. Will it be payback time in 2021? We are excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds for this NASCAR veteran.
Is it legal to bet on NASCAR in the USA?
When it comes to betting in the USA, you need to know the legality of doing so. Despite the majority of NASCAR events taking place in the country, it is currently only legal in certain states to wager on this sport.
In particular, the New Jersey government offers regulated NJ sports betting, including NASCAR betting online. The same applies to all states that allow online sports betting. At the moment it legal to bet in:
How It All Started
The stock car racing industry would certainly not be what it is today if it hadn’t been for Bill France Sr, also known as Big Bill, a racing driver turned businessman. After the first stock car race took place on the Daytona Beach Road Course in 1936, he began running the course, getting in touch with promoters, car owners, mechanics, and drivers.
Wanting to create better work conditions for the drivers, Frace organized the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing in 1948. And as they say, the rest is history. More than 1,500 races that take place in the USA, as well as Europe, Canada, and Mexico, are overseen by NASCAR. Lastly, following the legalization of online sports betting in some US states, BetMGM became NASCAR’s authorized gaming operator.
Betting on NASCAR Specials – Daytona 500
The most famous race in the Spring Cup is the opening event of the calendar, the Daytona 500. This 500-mile race is held annually at Daytona International Speedway.
It is the most important and prestigious event in the sport, which is why many betting sites offer special markets on it.
