Initially launched as Sportsbetting.com, the sportsbook was rebranded after Carousel landed a partnership with popular men’s magazine Maxim.
Sportsbetting.com had gone live back in September of 2020, but an agreement with Maxim earlier this year initiated the transition to MaximBet. At the time, Carousel and Maxim had announced a three-month transition period which they weren’t quite able to keep.
The MaximBet rebranding process ended seamlessly on September 6th, 2021, with all Sportsbetting.com users able to use their same logins to access the new site. This conversion included the transfer of all betting history and currently placed bets to the new sportsbook. The loyalty program was also included in the switch.
All in all, the rebrand was more of a facelift than an overhaul of the sportsbook’s user interface. Almost all of the same features are available at the new site, with the addition of a few more promotional incentives.
MaximBet States (Expired)
MaximBet is currently only available in Colorado but is expected to roll out through the US over the coming year. Other states inked in agreements to host the sportsbook include Arizona, Indiana, Iowa, and New Jersey.
The most recent announcement from the Carousel Group reported a partnership with the White Mountain Apache Tribe in Arizona. The tribe is the owner of the Hon-Dah Resort Casino, giving MaximBet the leverage it needs to enter the state. We expect a launch of MaximBet Arizona within the first quarter of 2023.
Although the brand has declared plans to expand into Indiana, Iowa, and New Jersey, actual dates have yet to be set.
MaximBet Betting Markets (Expired)
One of the key selling points found by our MaximBet Sportsbook review is the wide range of sports and leagues available. The site offers 18 sports including all major US Sports such as: Basketball, Baseball, Football, Hockey, UFC and NASCAR. Both pre-match and live betting options are on offer for a vast majority of sports.
Football
